Swedish band “The Vice” release their new album “Dead Canary Run” today (Noble Demon)

Swedish dark metallers The Vice have today released their highly anticipated new album “Dead Canary Run“, available via the German Noble Demon label. This release, published by UCP.ONE, also marks a significant milestone in the band’s history as it is the first time their music will be available on vinyl.

To celebrate the release of their new record, The Vice have released a dark music video for their latest single “Lit de Parade“.

The band comments: “‘Lit De Parade’ is a colourful example of the many elements that come together on our new album ‘Dead Canary Run’. From the drums, the sombre yet hopeful choruses, the guitar driven melodies and eerie interludes, to the piano that encapsulates it all. It’s a procession in honour of our craft, heading at full speed towards the nearest concrete wall.”

“Dead Canary Run” builds on the foundation of their previous work – the unique blend of dirty rock, blackened metal and death pop – and takes the listener down a crazy path that The Vice have masterfully crafted over the years. With an eclectic mix of genres, the album promises to captivate fans with its raw energy and infectious melodies. Whilst some elements may sound familiar, there are numerous new layers that The Vice have entered with this new work. Collaborating with their old partner in crime, Joel Öhman, who added his piano skills to some of the songs, The Vice left the studio “Underjord” late this summer with an album they couldn’t be more proud of.

“Dead Canary Run” is a testament to the band’s growth since their last album “White Teeth Rebellion” and shows the passion and determination of the trio.
