Sofie Hein loses all works that have not yet had a music publisher as well as future works at UCP.ONE. Managing Director Joachim Keil said: “We have known Sofia for a long time and are proud that she is now entrusting us with the publishing of her works. Included are all the compositions of the soundtrack to the film Berlinized by Lucian Busse, which will be released nine more times in 2023″.
Sofie Hein aka Lucyhoneychurch is a composer and writer, bassist, programmer and singer. She has composed film scores for arte documentaries and the soundtrack for the 90s backyard art basement bar creative scene documentary “Berlinized“. Through “field recordings” from nature and technology, Sofie Hein generates electronic samples under the artist mannequin Lucyhoneychurch. Processed into brute beats and combined with harmonic melodies, scratchy guitars and spherical vocals, the compositions become atmospheric tracks.
