Currently Peter Ries is writing and composing the soundtrack for the new film “Monolith (AT)” by director Julius Schultheiß. The resulting works will be co-published by Sony/ATV and UCP.ONE.
The film is about Samir, who, marked by tiredness, moves through Berlin at night. 24 hours we will follow him. To avert an impending danger, Samir has to search for evidence in his immediate surroundings. In doing so, he meets people who more and more bring his dwindling existence before his eyes. When Samir realizes that he can’t get any further on his own, the mysterious Henry appears and offers him a solution which is not without victims.
The film was shot in 12 days by a small team at numerous locations in Berlin.
